Crystal DeVoss Mahany
Crystal DeVoss Mahany earned a B.A. in Political Science in 2002 and began working in the legal field in 2004. Marrying her interest in policy and law, she earned a master's degree from Norwich University in 2011. Her thesis focused on Feminist Jurisprudence in relation to international law and policy in response to the War on Terror. Returning to her love of the law and work as a paralegal, she earned a second master's degree from GW’s Paralegal Studies Program. During her time as a student, Crystal was recognized for her commitment to work in civil rights. Upon graduation she was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), the paralegal national honor society.
Crystal joined CPS as an instructional assistant for Legal Research & Writing, Business Entities, and Administrative Law, then as adjunct faculty to teach Legal Research & Writing and Family Law. She is a member of the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE).
